Overview:

Our client, a significant player in the Pharmaceutical & Commercial Printing market, is looking to add a Technology Manager (Data & Web Based Solutions) to their team.

As Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the deployment of data driven and web based technology solutions. In the delivery of these services you will work with our customers, suppliers and internal departments as well as your direct reports.

Location:

Your place of work will be in Dublin 15 and you will be located within the data & design team. From time to time there will be a requirement for you to visit customers to assist with presales technology support and project management.

Role:

Lead a team of document composition & workflow specialists and liaise with other internal teams to develop workflows to provide clients with print & web-based data driven solutions.

Overview of some of the solutions that you will be responsible for:

Document composition applications used to create variable data driven communications such as bank statements, Insurance policies, pension benefit statements
HTML Email marketing applications for creating personalised digital communications
Web based brand portals with data driven artwork creation
Ecommerce sites (Magento)
Data visualisation technology - Google, Dashthis, Crystal reports

Duties:

As the Technology Manager, you will lead projects involving design, development and implementation of new technology applications and projects for varied clients and business sectors.

Develop a project plan and manage the technical internal and external resources to ensure successful on time delivery of project
Create documented technical specifications for the purpose of a client proposal or upon completion of a project
Identify opportunities for continual improvement thru automation utilising technology and build a business case for the investment
Be the single point of contact for customer teams and internal teams providing schedules and updates on design and development of new projects and on-going daily projects
Train & mentor and motivate a team, developing their skills and fostering a professional hard working happy working environment
Ensure that all standard operating procedures for processes that involve data and technology are updated and the team members trained accordingly
Ensure data compliance in accordance with ISO27001 and GDPR legislation
Responsible for the management and reporting of KPIs for the data and technology department

Package on offer:

Permanent, full-time position
Salary - c. €50k plus a bonus of up to €10K based on achieving agreed KPIs
